The yoga taught is not another ‘style’ of yoga but has roots based on a system of classical Hatha-Raja Yoga, taught in a traditional style of Vinyasa flow, inspired by the teachings of Sri Dharma Mittra. A spiritual practice with a focus on the Eight Limbs of Yoga (Patanjalis Ashtanga Yoga) with great emphasis placed on Yama and Niyama. Why do your training with PYS
Our Teacher Training courses and curriculum are carefully designed and facilitated by Linda Newman, who has been teaching for 28 years and teaching the teachers for 17 years. Linda teaches with enthusiasm and humour.
The courses are inspired by the teachings of Krishnamacharya and his students AG and Indra Mohan who Linda personally studies with and the classical Hatha-Raja Yoga style taught by Legendary Yoga Master Sri Dharma Mittra, Linda’s Guru.
The PYS Teacher Training Programs continue to evolve each year, keeping up with international standards and ensuring their graduating students receive high quality training that is taught with integrity.
Linda is joined by a faculty of exceptionally qualified and experienced professionals, who are leaders in their chosen fields of yoga, meditation, philosophy, anatomy and physiology, and Ayurveda.

Our 200 hour Teacher Training is fully accredited with Yoga Alliance. Upon graduation you will be able to register with Yoga Alliance as a RYT-200
This program is an exploration of yoga with emphasis on mastering physically and through teaching the Sadhana 1 vinyasa and Sadhana Gentle series.

Part Time and Intensive Courses
We are pleased to offer two formats for the 200 hour program.
The Part Time course is delivered over 9 weekend immersions, one weekend each month (Fri evening and Sat-Sun) This option makes the course accessible to those who have non negotiable career, study or family commitments, or who prefer to absorb and integrate the study material over a longer period of time.
The Full Time course is a complete immersion into yogic lifestyle and studies. Ideal for those you enjoy an accelerated learning experience, this 12 day residential includes preparatory study and course work, as well as assignments due after the face to face training is complete.
